Figure out who the target group is – who’d drink the beverage?
And direct the campaign at them.
F.ex. if it’s for kids, you’d have TV-ads in the afternoon, when they watch TV, support youth-sports etc.
If it’s a drink-mixer for adults, you may want to choose a TV-slot later in the evening for the ads, and get ads on signs and busstups all over the city.
If it’s for young people, put the ads on MTV.
Also consider the image of the drink – f.ex. the drink-mixer from before – do you want it to be a considered a classy mixer or the perfect mixer for pouring a case in a college bath-tub with a couple of bottles of unspecified alcohol …
Free samples at different groceries. Get them old grannys pretty cheap.
