Actually I don’t think it needs to be secret.
You can tell her that she has a choice. You can remove her access totally or you can monitor her. Doing it secretly will just make her mad at you and she’ll feel like she can’t trust you.
I suggest you not allow her access in private. The computer should be in a common area, like living room or rec room where you are, and
where you can monitor.
xp already has remote viewing in the assistance area, you can control or just view.
good luck!
Spector Pro works great. I have even used this on high school principals for investigative work.
You have 2 options. There’s a piece of hardware that attaches between the computer and the keyboard. Of course if she discovers that she could simply remove it, type her messages, then replace it.
The other option is software that tracks everything without her knowing it. Try a search of Download.com for such. NetNanny comes to my mind but I’m not entirely familiar with what it does. Of course, you might take the more direct approach and set up parental controls for her account which would let you deny her access to such chat programs.
Larry W and Ohio both have good ideas.
Here you go. Free and easy:http://www.snapfiles.com/downloadfind.php?st=keylogger&action=s&offset=10&search_action=&lc=
Spectorsoft is a very good spyware program. It will record email, downloads, chatting, and all images on the computer. It will allow you to customize what you want to record, and how often you record it. You can download it on spectorsoft.com
